We make SoundKey in Granada, so you can open the building door without being there
We're the team behind GoToCheck.pro, the online check-in software for holiday rentals that we've been making in Granada since 2025. SoundKey is our intercom door opener.
Why we created SoundKey
With GoToCheck.pro we help hosts automate their guests' arrival: registration, sending the mandatory guest reports to SES.Hospedajes, and the code for the flat's lock.
But there was a gap. The flat's front door was already solved with smart locks. The building's street door still needed someone to answer the intercom.
The existing door openers didn't work with many 2-wire intercoms, which are what many buildings have. They mimic the intercom's signals, and every brand uses its own. So we designed one that doesn't depend on each brand's protocol: it hears the buzzer and presses the door-release button, just as you would.
We designed it first for holiday lets, but it's useful at home too: to let in family, a delivery driver or whoever looks after your elderly relatives, with a link that only works on the days and hours you choose.
How we make it
- Designed and made in Spain, with our own circuit board.
- Our own firmware and server, built by us.
- Updates over WiFi: the device gets better without you having to touch it.
How we test it
We'd rather give you real data than promise figures. This is what we're doing now:
- Battery test under way since 22 October 2026, with two devices in real use: one with an arrival every day and another with an arrival every three days.
- We'll publish the results when the test is finished. Until then, we don't quote battery life figures.
- Compatibility confirmed at every installation: every intercom we install SoundKey on is added to our compatibility list.
SoundKey and GoToCheck.pro, together
With SoundKey we give you the first year of the GoToCheck.pro Premium plan for free. The guest registers from their phone, the guest report is sent automatically and, when they arrive, SoundKey opens the building door and your smart lock opens the flat. Without you having to be there.
